Our client is a well known, global sports, entertainment and lifestyle-marketing & events agency, who are now recruiting for an Integrated Communications Account Director to join their London office, working across their full client portfolio to offer a full service communications approach. Our client is looking for someone with a rounded understanding of both PR and Digital / Social Media disciplines and the ability to execute campaigns across these areas.

You will be Responsible for:

  • Produce and implement UK & International PR campaigns for the agency and our client base
  • Provide informed and creative Digital / Social Media recommendations for our client base
  • Working as part of the account and creative teams:
    • Identifying areas that traditional PR and digital can be sold into our existing client base
    • Delivering tailored PR and digital plans for pitches
    • Account Specific – Elite Football property
      • Day to Day client handling
      • Understanding of football market and specifically UEFA Champions League
      • Creation of PR proposals, executions and tactics that deliver across all comms channels
      • Forecast and deliver regular coverage against agreed KPIs
      • Delivery of strategic media relations and marketing campaigns
      • Post activity measurement and reporting
    • Management of branded content creation and distribution across all comms channels
    • Understanding the key social media trends across platforms and what is coming next in the digital arena
    • Deliver PR and Digital / Social Media whitepapers back to client base and for external circulation
    • Media and Influencer partnerships and promoted content (paid for media)
    • Collaboration across multiple departments
    • Production of operational briefing and reporting documentation
    • Management and knowledge of good third party suppliers
    • Budgeting of proposed ideas / executions
    • Reporting – pre, during and post events measurement and analytics
    • Maintain and develop key media relations within the sport/trade media landscape

You will also need to have:

  • A degree Qualification or equivalent
  • 5+ yrs working in Integrated Communications / PR
  • Strong track record of delivering integrated communications campaigns for brands
  • A strong traditional PR understanding and executional ability
  • Exceptional copywriting skills to oversee toolkit development, press releases and other written collateral
  • Social media and influencer marketing expertise
  • A good contact book within sports and lifestyle media outlets
  • Solid Agency experience
  • Sponsorship understanding good but not essential
  • Confidence to present to all levels of an organisation
