Hotpod yoga joins the Three Lions at training camp for 2020 EUROS

Hotpod Yoga has been brought in as an integral part of training and recovery as the England football squad battle their way through the UEFA European Football Championship.

Following their recent win against Croatia, The Three Lions have released behind-the-scenes footage of their training for the UEFA European Football Championship, featuring Europe’s largest yoga business Hotpod Yoga. The well-known yoga brand has provided the team with one of its signature heated pods, designed to aid in relaxation and recovery.

Hotpod Yoga co-founder Max Henderson said “It’s a huge privilege to be working with the Three Lions. Having built up a lot of experience working with elite sports teams over the years, being part of the England team’s setup at the Euros, with such an exciting squad of players, is something pretty special. We’ll be doing our best to help make sure they’re in tip top shape to go all the way.”

Hotpod Yoga is also loved by other elite sports teams, including England Rugby, who took a pod to Japan as part of their campaign to reach the World Cup final in 2018. England Rugby captain Owen Farrell is an avid fan of the pod, saying “The pod gives me a perfect space to just breathe, and the yoga combined with the warmth of the pod helps me get my body moving again. I’d definitely recommend it to any athlete.”

Already established in over 60 locations around the world, Hotpod Yoga is on a mission to reinvent yoga for the modern world. Classes are held in fully immersive, 37-degree pods for a yoga experience like none other. The warmth of the pod and the physicality of the flows work the body, while the dim lights, purple hues and immersive soundscapes calm the busy mind.

As an innovative response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hotpod Yoga debuted an individual sized studio in 2020, which is now in development for home use and due to launch for retail in 2022.

Hotpod Yoga was launched in 2013 by yoga teacher Nick Higgins and strategy consultant Max Henderson. It was started with a simple mission: to reinvent yoga for the modern world. The duo wanted to create a supercharged approach to an ancient and powerful practice that could help take yoga out of its niche and into the lives of millions of people previously untouched by (or uninterested in) yoga.

Embracing the future, while respecting the past, the Hotpod Yoga experience fuses innovative design and intricate detailing with high quality teaching and real personality. The result: yoga in its most potent form. Kicking-off with a sell-out series of pop-up classes around the halls of London, the business soon spread further afield – launching its first franchise in Swansea in 2013.

Now with over 60 locations across 8 countries, Hotpod Yoga has grown into one of the world’s largest yoga businesses – a real revolution in yoga that’s well on its way to achieving its mission: millions of new yoga converts.
