The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games to be postponed until 2021

According to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the Olympic Games have been postponed, say Sky Sports.

Originally it was thought a meeting would take place on Monday 30th March, after pressure was put on the IOC to cancel the games, with Canada refusing to send athletes to the games. Team Australia have also advised their athletes to prepare for a 2021 games.

It has now been all but confirmed that the games will take place one year later.
