Having blogged about how sports and teams can use social media for a while now, the most surprising thing I have noticed has been the lack of fan generated content used by sporting bodies and institutes.

This afternoon ex-Liverpool winger Ryan Babel found out about the pain that hacking can be. There have been cases when this has happened to corporate accounts but I think this is forst time a footballer has fallen victim.
