Nike congratulate the Cavaliers with emotional “Worth the wait” ad

The Cleveland Cavaliers made history last night, coming back from a 3-1 deficit to bring home the city’s first major championship in over 50 years.

On their third trip to the Finals the Cavaliers finally claimed the NBA title, and Nike was ready with a perfect commercial. The advert – created by Wieden + Kennedy – shows fans from around Cleveland as well as the team’s top players, including MVP LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and J.R. Smith, celebrating their long-awaited triumph:

We’ve recently seen Adidas celebrating their ambassador’s achievements at Euro 2016, but this incredible effort from Nike takes reactive marketing to another level.
