The England starting XI; if Twitter decided from the Euro 2012 squad

Leading social media monitoring software provider Brandwatch have been delving deeper into the online conversations around EURO 2012.  In one of the first in a  series of info graphics they are looking to produce around the tournament, they have looked at which players are generating the most Twitter conversations.

With this info they have produced the starting line up based on the their popularity on the 140 character platform.  There its an anomoly if you tried to take it for tonights game as Wayne Rooney is present in the starting line up despite him being banned for the Sweden game (how we could do with him!).

You can take a look in more detail about each player in the squad and see the latest tweets, what the sentiment is and when the peaks occurred.  For England you can take a look here and there is also one for Germany here.

Good luck to the boys boys tonight and in the meantime enjoy and share this lovely infographic….
