Updated App helps you to do it like the Pros

Throw out the handy cam and put aside the tripod, there’s a new release of an app here that’s set to help budding sports stars improve their technique on their way to becoming the next big thing. Called Coach’s Eye + Teams, the app is targeted at helping sportspeople hone their technique using their smart phone.

Coach’s Eye is an improved version of Coach’s Eye which uses the camera from your iOS or Android device to record high quality video of an athlete’s performance. This can then be reviewed in super slow-motion to analyse performance that includes drawings on the video, annotations and voice commentary to show where improvements can be made.

Allowing the user to observe what is going wrong with their technique, the app accommodates for number of sports ranging from volleyball and tennis to sprinting and golf.

The app also allows a split screen comparison which allows two videos to be reviewed side-by-side so you can compare the last performance with your personal best or you import videos from your friends or even a professional athlete’s.

The app has been voted in the top 100 recommended apps by Know Your App and just won the Sports Technology Award for Best Support Technology for Coaches and Managers. The app has been re-released in an eye pleasing and user friendly way which has significantly improved the usability of the app.
