The Isuzu Rugby app, a “one stop shop” for NatWest 6 Nations fans

At the start of a 4-year partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union which sees their brand emblazoned on the iconic Welsh shirt, Isuzu, “The Pick-Up Professionals” want to make a real splash with fans by launching their own rugby app ahead of the 2018 NatWest 6 Nations Championships.

The new Isuzu Rugby app, available for free on iOS and Android, provides rugby fans with the go-to source for in-depth, 24/7 real-time news and views around all aspects of the international game. Social media updates from the players, coaches, former players and legends plus Isuzu’s own rugby content blends with other real-time rugby content from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Exclusive content will be created with Isuzu Welsh ambassadors including Alun Wyn Jones, Dan Lydiate and Jon Davies.

Isuzu commissioned app-led activation experts RightNow Digital to bring to life their sponsorship and offer a coherent call to action message across all their activation activity. The Isuzu rugby app will now become a central part of its “Get Rugged” campaign during the NatWest 6 Nations, as well as allow fans to enter competitions and book test drives.

By providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ for news, social media, ticketing, merchandise and other services, Isuzu is able to embed its own marketing messages within the content fans crave during international matches. A daily campaign feature means that fans are always informed of their latest activation activity including competitions and offers.
