PSG launch Virtual Reality app for fans

French football giants Paris Saint-Germain have launched “FANSPARC”, a new app dedicated to offering fans an immersive experience of the club’s stadium, Parc des Princes. According to PSG, the app brings the PSG community and virtual reality together, making the experience more realistic than ever before.

Thanks to this new tool, fans across the world can create their own avatar and discover the stadium in a unique 3D tour with 11 different places to visit. The app also includes others features such as challenges and quizzes.

With this app, PSG are hoping to create a greater unity between fans thanks to a chat open for all. Users are able to talk with others about games and players at any time.

News is fed into the platform via the club’s Twitter account and website, with a league table, fixtures, scores, line-ups and in-play stats all included.

To promote the launch of the app, PSG has launched a first-person game where a user can try to juggle on the Parc des Princes pitch. FIt is currently only available on iPad, before being available on mobile by the end of the year.
