PlayStation France launches ‘The Golden Joystick’ Competition

PlaySation F.C. FR launched last week the first edition of “La Manette d’Or” (“The Golden Joystick”), a trophy to reward the most beautiful goal of the year on PlayStation 4.

The principe of this contest is simple: share your great goals on PS4 (from FIFA 2016 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2016), on Twitter via the “share” button using the hashtag #MANETTEDOR. One retweet equals one vote.

The 23 goals that get the most retweets will be presented to a panel of experts (a blend of former players, journalists, video games experts alike), who will choose the best entry. The winner will be able to display the golden trophy on their sideboard.

As a reward for collecting votes and engagement for this contest, PlayStation will give 50 DualShock 4 Silver (PS4 joysticks) to Twitter users who retweeted the competition’s tweet.

The contest started on the 29th November, with more than 200 goals were shared on the first day alone. You can watch all the goals shared and vote for them here.

People taking part have until the 6th January 2016 to enter their best strike. So share your goals on Twitter + #MANETTEDOR to win!

Translation: Your fingers make wonderful things? Share your most beautiful goals on PS4 to win the #MANETTEDOR.
