Pitchero brings Northern Premier League to fans

Global sports network Pitchero has announced a groundbreaking new partnership with the Northern Premier League that will bring amateur and semi-professional football to fans by broadcasting all future matches.

This deal with Pitchero, a network designed to bring fans closer to amateur and grassroots leagues, will give Northern Premier League fans an experience they’ve never previously had. This will be the first time high-quality footage of matches and highlights will be available for this level of non-league football.

Although the deal will begin with the Northern Premier League, it will soon expand to include Division One North and South. Already partnered with the Vanarama National League, this deal is part of Pitchero’s ongoing mission to improve the experience of semi-professional and amateur sports leagues.

Matches will be filmed with the innovative Pitchero Play platform, making clips and highlights available to club and local media channels. This is an exciting new use of Pitchero Play, a service that enables teams to capture footage and upload it online within 60 seconds.

Mark Fletcher, CEO of Pitchero said: “This is a strong demonstration of our commitment and passion for football at all levels, and an exciting start as we plan to make the local game more accessible than ever before.  We want Pitchero to be the network that allows clubs to grow participation and engage the next generation of sports stars, so we are delighted to be able to bring the great stories of non-league football to a new audience.”

Founded in 2007, Pitchero now serves over 70,000 sports teams, with over 1 million active users across football, cricket, rugby, and hockey.
