Nike releases powerful ad ahead of Rio Olympics

In this new Nike ad spot called “Unlimited Future”, the American actor Bobby Cannavale does a motivation speech in a nursery with dozens of babies of all backgrounds. During the speech, he talks about encouragement, determination and perseverance. We discover who the babies that are listening to the powerful words in the video grown up into as the video progresses: Neymar Jr, Serena Williams, Mo Farah and Zhou Qi.

This links to their global campaign ahead of the Rio Olympic Games, that begin next week. Except Lebron James, the brand ambassadors shown will participate in the Olympics in their respective disciplines and Nike encourages them to reach the top of their sport. On its website, Nike didn’t forget to highlight its athletes who will go to Rio with exclusive content.

With the Olympics starting in a few days, brands embrace their ambassadors to reach fans all around the world and drive more brand exposure ahead of the event like Gatorade did last week with Usain Bolt.
