Juventus enters the world of memes with #ThingsTevezCouldDribble
Following Carlos Tevez’s fantastic solo effort during last Sunday’s 7-0 defeat of Parma, the digital team at Juventus decided to have some fun with their fans.

On the @juventusfcen account they decided to ask fans for their most creative efforts using the hashtag #ThingsTevezCouldDribble. It plays on the use of memes, which in the past have included John Terry at trophy presentations and Ashley Cole following his ‘lurking’ appearance in this seasons AS Roma team photo.

So they asked the clubs fans to get involved and send in their best efforts. Usually these events take on a life of their own and develop naturally, such as the Ashley Cole one, but here is a club experimenting with how they could involve their fans in having a bit a fun.
Since November 10th the hashtag was used over 5000 times by fans. Not bad from a quickly turned around piece of fan engagement on Twitter by the club.
And the fans came up with some great efforts…
