IOC to discuss Tokyo Olympics postponement

The IOC will meet with the Japanese government to discuss postponing the Olympic Games due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The meeting will take place on Monday 30th March, after pressure was put on the IOC to cancel the games, with Canada refusing to send athletes to the games. Team Australia have also advised their athletes to prepare for a 2021 games.

The BOA, the British Paralympic Association and funding body UK Sport will also come together to discuss the postponement of the Paralympic Games, according to Sky Sports News.
