EUROs 2016 unveil its final national sponsor
Abritel-HomeAway has been announced as the official accommodation provider for the EUROs 2016 which kick off on 10 June.
The leader in holiday rental in France will help all fans attending matches get accommodation in each host city via a special platform. Following this, the accommodation provider is set to launch a campaign in France to encourage landlords to rent out their housing.
Similar to the global brand Airbnb, the company surveyed holidayers across Europe and found that 70% of travellers preferred spending time in accommodation which protects their privacy
Abritel-HomeAway is the sixth and final national sponsor of the tournament joining Adidas, Coca-Cola, Continental, Hyundai-Kia, McDonalds, Orange, SOCAR and Carlsberg
HomeAway Chief Marketing Officer Mariano Dima said that they were proud to be the first rental provide to sponsor the event and that they were a great fit as a EUROs sponsor.
“UEFA EUROs 2016 will attract many fans to the tournament and we are thrilled to help accommodate everyone in France” he said.
“Our inventory of more than 170,000 entire properties throughout France provides the perfect solution for fans everywhere.”
According to the company, 70% of travellers polled across the Europe prefer spending time in accommodation which protects their privacy.
