New influencer feature added to Watch Together offering

ELEVEN SPORTS is set to take its innovative Watch Together offering to new levels this weekend in Belgium.

Watch Together enables fans to watch live sporting action together with friends and family in the same online space at the same time, sharing the emotions of a matchday.

Now, for the first time, ELEVEN SPORTS fans will be able to watch alongside stars of the game.

Joining Belgian viewers in the Watch Together ‘room’ for the Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dormund on Saturday will be former Belgium internationals Filip Daems and Karel Geraerts.

The duo will give their reactions to the action as it unfolds at the Allianz Arena, with fans able to contribute to the discussion through a live messaging service.

ELEVEN SPORTS’ Watch Together offering is available in Belgium and Portugal for fans watching UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Formula 1, UFC and many other premium sports through the OTT (over-the-top) player.

The ground-breaking Watch Together service, powered by leading tech start-up Reactoo, has been created to drive engagement and make watching sport a fun and social experience for fans – even when miles apart. It was recently shortlisted for Best Digital First Production at the SportsPro OTT awards, which will be held in Madrid later this month.
