Club World Cup to be postponed to allow for continental competitions
The newly reformatted Club World Cup, which was set to debut in the summer of 2021, will be moved to accommodate for the rescheduled tournaments that have been affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.
The Club World Cup, which typically involves the four sides who won their respected continental competitions across the world, was ready to welcome 24 sides to compete in a more expansive version of the competition.
While no new date has been set, FIFA look ready to most the tournament to make way for the Copa America and Euros to take place.
