Brandtix signs partnership with Dugout

Brandtix, the world’s first real-time index of elite athlete and team value based on their performance and social media appeal, is partnering with Dugout to become its official stats supplier. Launched last week, Dugout is a new online platform serving football fans exclusive digital content about their favourite teams and players.

Many of Europe’s biggest clubs and footballers from Europe have already signed up, including AC Milan, Arsenal, AS Monaco, AS Roma, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Dugout.com is free to access and will host content created by the clubs and players, with some being available 24 hours before it is released on any other social media channel, making it the primary source for fans to get news on the clubs and players they love.

Brandtix will have its own dedicated Dugout Data section, giving fans access to unique social insights and on-pitch data points where they can gain additional information and analytics about any given player or team on the platform. The Brandtix Sports Index combination of performance data, social media reach and fan sentiment, provides a unique perspective on teams and players, with ‘datatainment’ ideally suited to the digitally engaged football fan.

Jon Rosenblatt, Chief Executive, Brandtix, said: “We are delighted to be part of this pioneering platform and to be aligned with some of football’s biggest teams and players. Football fans want the real story behind what happens on and off the pitch, and they want to find it quickly and easily. Fans can have fun with our stats, as they are linked to the talking points – like transfer gossip, dips and surges in form, and of course goals – that fans love to share and discuss on social networks. Football is drama, with intrigue, heroes and villains, and our Index adds to the entertainment, providing a currency that fans can share, wherever they are in the world.”

The Brandtix Index is already gaining currency – also among sponsors and commercial partners – as it reflects how a team or player’s value goes up and down in line with key events – such as big-money transfers, key victories, losses, scandals and many more factors. Brandtix’s indexing takes into consideration the importance of social media profiles and online opinion as well as on-pitch performance.

Dugout is accessible on desktop, tablet and mobile and will be available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and Bahasa Indonesian.
