Alex Armstead (@alexarmstead on Twitter) is a television producer and director with a passion for sport and technology. He is currently working on the Channel Five series "The Gadget Show" where he has been lucky enough to work with some top names in the worlds of sport and media. Particular highlights (with a sporting twist) include directing shoots featuring Dame Kelly Holmes, Dean Macey, Karen Pickering and Rebecca Romero. Alex has a keen interest in social media (and how it affects sport); gadgets; breaking sports stories...and the radio. He also like to play football, golf and cricket.
