Android TV joins Samsung as part of LaLigaSportsTV coverage

LaLigaSportsTV is now available to all users who have a Smart TV. The LaLiga OTT, which offers free live coverage of over 30 sports, is already available on Samsung and LG Smart TVs and is now available globally on with Android TV.

Thanks to LaLigaSportsTV, all sports fans who download the app will be able to soak up a range the action from every match-day of the Liga Nacional de Futbol Sala (LNFS – National Futsal League), the Liga ASOBAL (Spain’s premier professional handball league) and the Liga LEB Oro (the second tier of the Spanish basketball league system).

LaLigaSportsTV is not just devoted to domestic sport, however, with international competitions such as the Superbike World Championship starting on 28 February, the European Weightlifting Championships in April, the European Judo Championships in May and the Canoe Sprint World Championships all available, among other competitions and sports.

In addition, LaLigaSportsTV offers the likes of the PREMAAT leagues (men’s and women’s water polo), the Primera Iberdrola and the Division de Honor Masculina de Hockey Hierba (the top flight in field hockey), the Copa de España de Futsal, the handball Copa del Rey and both the LNFS and LEB Oro playoffs.

Besides live tournaments and competitions, LaLigaSportsTV offers on-demand video content, which allows viewers to enjoy the huge range of domestic and international sport whenever they wish.

Where to download and how to watch LaLigaSportsTV

The LaLigaSportsTV app is now available to download for free on Google Play and App Store. The service is accessible from mobiles, tablets, Samsung and LG Smart TVs (LG devices only in Spain), Android TV and mirroring.

Accessing the different channels belonging to the respective federations on the app is available by swiping to reveal the side menu. This will reveal the different categories on offer, as well as information about the content, such as whether it is pre-recorded, highlights or a live broadcast.
