Premier League announce partnership with Pulselive

The Barclays Premier League has confirmed that it has formed a partnership with Pulselive, a digital division of sports tech company Hawk-Eye that will involve the redevelopment of the League’s official web and mobile platforms for the 2016/2017 season.

The partnership will see the re-design of www.premierleague.com as well as the development of an app that will bring the key features and functions from its existing properties all into one, to be available across iOS, Android and Windows operating platforms.

This includes bringing the Premier League’s fantasy platform as well as live data, social media and video all into one hub to ensure a streamlined Premier League digital experience for an estimated 1.2 billion global fan base.

Head of Digital at the Premier League Martin Axford said that they were excited in seeing what Pulselive would bring their digital platforms.

We’re very pleased to announce this digital partnership. Pulselive have a proven track record and their appointment ensures the Premier League’s digital and mobile properties will serve our fans locally and globally as well as complementing our clubs’ own sites and channels.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of Pulselive Wyndham Richardson said they were looking forward to helping the Premier League increase its digital following.

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with the Premier League to maximise the value of their digital platforms in order to serve the wider objectives of the Premier League and respective clubs. At the very heart of this redevelopment is the mission to help fans get closer to the football.

The new digital platforms will be launched in July 2016 ahead of the start of the 2016/2017 Premier League season.
