Juventus enter the Snapchat game

Italian champions Juventus have opened an account on Snapchat ahead of the big Champions League clash against FC Bayern Munich.

Bianconeri join the biggest European football teams on the platform including Real Madrid, Arsenal, PSG and their Champions League opposition FC Bayern Munich. Juventus are only the third Italian club to join Snapchat behind AS Roma and Inter Milan.

To celebrate the novelty, the club has already been creative in promoting their new Snapchat account on other social media platforms (below). It’s also served as a platform for Juventus to give fans a behind-the-scenes view of the club’s preparation before the Champions League fixture.

So far, the account has already shared a meeting between Bayern’s and the Juventus mascot, Bienaconeri’s training and both clubs press conferences including Pep Guardiola and Gianluigi Buffon.

Attempting to lose no time in establishing a significant presence on Snapchat, Juventus has already created a full life story.

The arrival of the Italian champions on the platform is yet another win for Snapchat who’s rapidly establishing a presence in the digital sports world. In England’s Premier League, more than half of the clubs are already active on the platform.
