An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Video Editor and Media Designer to join the Scouting department at Manchester United.
Reporting into the Head of Recruitment Analysis the purpose of this role is to provide media and video editing support to the Scouting department. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Creative Editor who will be able to provide graphical design and support in digital video production while also acting as the creative lead in the professional branding of reports to all internal customers.
This brand new role is ideal for a creative and ambitious individual who would like to be part of a fast-growing department at one of the largest sports brands in the world. Due to the in depth nature of the work involved the successful candidate will need to possess a keen interest in

watching and editing professional football matches.
Though there will be a limited requirement to travel, some evening and weekend working will sometimes be required. Due to site location and limited public transport, a full drivers’ license and access to personal transport is required.
Due to this post being in regulated activity, the potential employee will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check at the appropriate level. It is a criminal offence for a barred person to attempt to engage with vulnerable groups.

Job Description

Accountable to: Head of Recruitment Analysis

The purpose of this role is to provide media and video editing support to the analytics department based at Manchester United’s Aon Training Complex.
We are seeking a highly creative and organised individual to be responsible for providing video graphics, while also acting as the design lead in the professional branding of analysis reports to internal customers. An ability to work efficiently with great attention to detail sometimes under challenging time constraints is absolutely necessary.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
In depth knowledge and demonstrable professional experience of using the Adobe Creative Suite software including Premiere Pro, After effects, Photoshop  (all essential) and Flash (desirable).
Qualified to degree level (minimum classification 2:1) in a media related subject with specific training in digital video production.
Be computer literate amongst the mac suite of products, Microsoft office or similar packages.
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work with total discretion.
Ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised and as an effective team member
The ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner and practical approach to problem solving
A willingness to work flexible hours in accordance with the demands of the role.
Full driving license.
A commitment to driving forwards continuous improvement in their working environment.
Sound personal qualities such as communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure.

Hours of Work
