Digital Analyst – Leeds Based

We are please to be working with this progressive, dynamic, fun and fast-paced global sports media broadcasting company who are now looking for a Digital Analyst to join their ever-expanding team.

As Digital Analyst, you will provide analytics support to the organization with a goal of delivering insights and optimization recommendations.  You will have a particular focus audience engagement across apps, social, and other off-platform brand touchpoints.  A great natural communicator, you will help inform strategic decision-making and provide key support to editorial, product, marketing and commercial teams

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?

Create and maintain regular analytics KPI reporting and provide proactive analysis with a focus on delivering insights to optimize editorial and product efforts

Using data segmentation and drill-down, analyse audience engagement across all platforms, including app, social, and distributed content to inform the business and make recommendations to optimize

Work closely with the marketing team to analyse campaign activity and optimise marketing spend across channels such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, and content discovery networks

Support commercial teams with ad hoc information requests, provision of insight and analysis for sales pitches and reporting on commercial campaign performance

Maintain analytics implementation across Web / App and Video, including tag management oversight

 

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?

Degree qualification, a mathematical/statistical background a plus
An understanding of digital metrics, with a working knowledge of analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
1+ yr(s) experience in an analytics-focused role
Strong analytical skills with a passion for finding insights in data to drive recommendations
Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working with large data sets
Close attention to detail and a confident and professional communicator
E Excellent time management skills with ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure

 

 

DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?

Working knowledge of Social Media metrics and platform reporting
Experience automating data sets through data connectors (Google Sheets/Excel Plug-ins, etc.)
Working knowledge of traffic acquisition platforms (Taboola, Outbrain, etc.) and SEO best practices
