The London Sporting enjoyed a hugely successful breakfast this morning as members and their guests cheered on the British & Irish Lions to a morale-boosting victory over the Waikato Chiefs just four days before the first test against the All Blacks. In conjunction with our friends from the Lord’s Taverners, 80 like-minded men and women assembled at the famous Hippodrome Casino at Leicester Square to watch the game this morning on a big screen and be entertained by the former Wasps and England centre, Damian Hopley, who is now the CEO and Founder of the Rugby Players’ Association. Over breakfast, during and after the game they networked as well before heading out into the searing sunshine to start, somewhat belatedly, their day.
