Event: Innovation in Digital Sport – March 27th in Manchester
This month a new event will be launched under the Digital Sport flag, where we take a look at a particular area that is most pressing to our industry. In March we will dig deep into the subject of ‘innovation’ with a host of speakers from various sectors within the industry. We will look at what innovation means, and how we can be more innovative, but we will also explore whether or not we even need to be, and some of the best examples from those that are.
One of our speakers, Michael Broughton (a regular writer on industry issues on LinkedIn), recently spoke about why Innovation in Sport is necessary. Have a read of it – after you’ve already bought your ticket to the event, of course (!) – and whet your appetite for the topic.
The day in Manchester on March 27th is made up of short talks, open discussions, and roundtable collaborations. You won’t just be sat on your own all day listening to people talking: we’ll make sure that you are engaged with the topics, that the speakers are accessible, and that there is ample opportunity to network – an important element to any event.
We have a phenomenal list of guest speakers to take you through a variety of topics that will come up during the day. They include;
- Alex Trickett – former Head of Sport, Twitter UK
- Professor Andy Miah – Salford University
- Mark Coyle – Head of Media, Velon
- Fiona Green – Founder & CEO, Winners CRM
- Chris Paget – Associate Solicitor, Sheridans
- Richard Clarke – former Senior Director of Digital Media & Comms, Colorado Rapids
- Michael Broughton – Partner, Sports Investment Partnerships
- Leigh Moore – Founder, Creative Players
