Manchester City bus takes its first drive
Before Manchester City’s match vs. West Ham on Wednesday, Man City posted pictures of their newly decked out team bus “driving through London”. Unfortunately for them, West Ham took notice. Before West Ham took a beating that night, they ripped Man City for posting the well-edited pictures of a sunny afternoon in London on a cloudy, rainy morning in London. City then responded with an image of the bus outside the Hammers’ beloved Boleyn Ground, the destruction of which has been highly contentious.

New York Red Bulls take a parting shot
When Chelsea legend Frank Lampard announced his retirement from football, he was immediately celebrated by fans on social media as one of the most successful midfielders in Premier League history. Lampard’s NYCFC rivals, New York Red Bulls, were not among these messages, instead posting a GIF of forward Mike Grella nutmegging Lampard. It went down a treat.

With one of the biggest social media followings in the SEC, University of Georgia had some of the best social media of the day. They used top-notch graphics to announce commits with the hashtag #CommitToTheG.
