GoPro teams up with Red Bull Racing

As part of the beginning of the new Formula 1 season which started in Australia last week, GoPro has teamed up with the new Red Bull F1 Team as official sponsor.

Under the deal, GoPro and Red Bull Racing will work together to provide video content for digital and social channels as well as filming days and unique live demos to immerse sports fans right in the heart of the action.

Australian Red Bull F1 Racing Daniel Ricciardo said he can’t wait to show what he’s doing behind the wheel in conjunction with GoPro.

“This is a pretty cool partnership. Red Bull is always up for doing things a bit differently and I think GoPro shares a lot of the same values. It should make for some pretty wild ideas!” he said.

Under Armour launches a collection dedicated to Superman vs Batman

Superman vs Batman, one the biggest blockbusters expected of the year, is being released this week across the world. US apparel brand Under Armour has launched a collection of products dedicated to the movie to complete its Alter Ego range including t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts… and even football boots!

Across its different social channels, Under Armour is asking to customers to choose between Superman or Batman in order to find products dedicated to their favourite superhero.

Wanda Group is the new FIFA partner

Wanda Group, China’s largest commercial property company and the world’s largest cinema chain operator, became the first Chinese company to become a FIFA partner.

Under the deal, Wanda Group got the highest level of sponsorship rights until 2030 which includes the next four FIFA World Cup™ editions in 2018, 2022, 2026 and 2030;

After getting 20% of Atletico Madrid and buying Infront Sports & Media, one of the biggest sports agencies in the world, Wang Jianlin, Chairman of the Wanda Group, is proud to see China become more and more important in the football world.

Lionel Messi becomes Huawei global’s ambassador

Chinese company and the third biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world, Huawei has unveiled its new global ambassador, football superstar Lionel Messi. Huawei is hoping the last Ballon d’Or to boost its brand awareness and sales in Europe as well as in South America.

As part of the announcement, Huawei also launched the #ConnectingGreatness campaign across its social channels to show how the brand is offering the best service possible in the world.

Huawei Consumer Handset Business President, Kevin Ho, said Messi is ideal as a brand ambassador as his reach is significant.

“We both honour the path we walked to what we have achieved, and with each new challenge we renew our commitment to find the path to success.” he said
