Ronaldo releases his own line of headphones

Cristiano Ronaldo has launched his own line of headphone titled ROC in partnership with Headphones by Monster. To promote his new business and jump on the wave of Christmas retail cheer, Ronaldo unveiled a commercial where he is playing his own version of the Jingle Bells Christmas carol.

Ronaldo said that in launching his own headphone brand, it was all about making sure they were high quality.

“A partnership with Monster was evident, for us the quality is the most important. When you will use our products, you will know what I mean,” he said.

Puma signs record deal with the “next Usain Bolt”

Andre De Grasse has become the new Puma athletics ambassador after signing a multi-year endorsement contract with the brand.

A Bronze medalist at the 100m at the last World Championships, the Canadian signed a record deal worth US$11.25 million. Including a bonus, the young sprinter is set to earn around US$30 million.

With current World Champion Usain Bolt arguably on the down slope of his career and his affiliation with Puma ending after the Rio Olympic Games next Summer, the sports brand have made their future plans clear by signing De Grasse.

Every day people to play for their name against PSG superstars

Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) official partner Orange has rolled out a very original marketing operation.

Accompanied with the hashtag #FightForYourName, Orange will give four every day people who have the same name as four PSG players the opportunity “get back” their own name by facing the pros in a penalty competition at Parc des Princes

In an extremely unusual but effective campaign, four battles will take place involving PSG superstars Blaise Matuidi, Thiago Silva, Benjamin Stambouli and Edinson Cavani until 16 December.

Internet users are able to bet on each game via a special web page. All of those who wish to follow the event can do-so via the hashtag on twitter.

Turkish Airlines announced as a partner of the EUFA EUROs 2016

After Orange was announced as a partner of the tournament last month, Turkish Airlines has become the official airline company of the EUROs in one of the biggest sports deals in the company’s history.

In the partnership, Turkish Airlines will benefit from huge brand visibility in all stadiums throughout the tournament. Some of the company’s aircrafts will also be decorated with EURO 2016 colors during the tournament.

Turkish Airlines is the first airline company to join the European championship in its 56 year history.

Nike to stay in the Premier League ball at least until 2019

Nike will supply the official match ball of the Barclays Premier League until at least 2019 after signing a deal with the competition prolonging their relationship that’s been in place since 2000.

Premier League Managing Director Richard Masters said that being the biggest sports brand in the world, they were well suited as a partner with the Premier League.

 “As the leading global sports brand, Nike are an excellent fit for the Premier League,” he said.

“It’s very important in helping us continue to put on a high quality football competition which is enjoyed by fans in the UK and around the world.”

The new deal will include help from Nike for the Premier League Players Scheme program starting next season. This operation, financed by Premier League players, has already provided sports kits for more than 4,200 schools and non-professional teams.

Nike concludes a great week after signing a lifetime deal with LeBron James.
