FremantleMedia UK Interactive are expanding their digital football project and are looking for a multi-skilled Audience Development & Social Media Manager to work across numerous fan channels. They’re looking for a digital media professional with a keen interest in football and in YouTube.

Reporting to: Marketing Manager & Head of Sport

Role:

– To help grow audience by building relationships on YouTube, other social media platforms, football websites and mainstream media
– To maintain and optimise YouTube channels
– To produce engaging content across other social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Vine, Instagram)
– To generate editorial ideas and assist with video production
– To work closely with the channel production team

Key Skills:

– An avid football fan and consumer of modern football content
– A proven working knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms
– An ability to confidently write short form/blogging
– A working knowledge of video production techniques
– A self-starter; willing to create and maximise opportunities for the channel(s)
– An ability to work under pressure and in a fast-turnaround/news environment

Additional Skills (Desirable):
– A substantial network of contacts within the football blogging community
– Video editing experience (Adobe Premiere)
– Basic video shooting skills
– Basic image editing (Photoshop)
– Website SEO experience
– On-camera vlogging/presenting experience
