Arizona to launch new NFL reality series

Amazon Video and NFL Films have teamed up to produce a new reality show called All or Nothing, a show that will give NFL fans a behind-the-scenes look at a team over the course of the season.

The first season, which is set to air this summer, will follow the Arizona Cardinals through the 2015 season with the series containing eight 1-hour episodes and will not only give an in-depth look at the locker rooms and sidelines but also into the homes of the players and coaches.

The NFL said that the show would give fans a good idea about how their favourite team prepares for games and how their favourite players manager their weeks.

“NFL Films takes viewers inside the locker room, on the sidelines, and to the homes of Cardinals players and team personnel for an extraordinary view…along the way the series chronicles the on and off-field events in the lives of Arizona players.” NFL Films also said that its crew was “embedded with the Arizona Cardinals” in a number of ways.

Along with this new reality series, Amazon is competing with Verizon and Facebook for the digital rights to the NFL’s Thursday night games, with the league expecting to announce its new partner in the near future.

Apple decided against bidding for the Thursday night games as it viewed the substantial costs would not help differentiate Apple TV from normal living room competition. With Apple not bidding and the potential success of All or Nothing, Amazon looks to be in great position to win the rights.
